Salvador Dali "The Royal Heart" Faux Ruby & Pearl Pin Brooch Joies by Margot Townsend 2002 Very RARE. VINTAGE 2002 in original box with papers. 2003 after the original made by Dali on December 2, 1953 (Original). Gold Heart with jeweled crown and inset with a pulsating ruby center, signifies the ruler whose heart beats for his people. Dalí created this mechanised jeweled object d'art in honor of the Coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth 11.

The ORIGINAL heart beating was created with Gold, Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds, A. Quamarines, Peridots, Garnets, Amethysts, Diamonds and Pearls. This museum quality estate authorized edition by Margot Townsend is gold plated and has synthetic stones rather than gemstones. It is a near perfect recreation of the original museum piece!

Vintage 2002, newer worn and in the original box with certificate as shown. Fully insured for loss or damage! Today, most of Dalís jewels reside in the collection of the Dalí Museum in Figueres, Spain.
