Royal Crown Derby Sun Parakeet. Also known as a sun conure. Please contact me via my listing if there's anything you'd like to discuss. Absolutely stunning shades of yellow, orange, and greens depicting the subtle feathering.

Lavishly gilded with 22-carat gold. Its habitat is savannah or dry forest with palm groves, which is reflected in the decor around the base. The Sun Parakeet is to be found in the Brazilian state of Roraima, southern Guyana, extreme southern Suriname, and southern French Guyana.

They are quite loud and good speakers. Modelled by Donald Brindley and decorated by Tien Mahn Dien. Fourth in a series of exotic birds collection created for the Guild of Specialist Gift Retailers. The Sun Parakeet was only manufactured between 2007-8.
