ROYAL CROWN DERBY INDIA, A1357 PATTERN, LARGE SOUP OR VEGETABLE TUREEN. The soup/vegetable tureen stands about 7½ inches (19cm) in height to the top of the lid finial, is about 10½ inches (26½cm)in diameter at its widest point (not including the handles) and holds about 6 pints (UK).

It is excellent as new condition with no chips, cracks or restoration with the colour being bright and vibrant including the gold decoration. Both the base and the lid have the full Royal Crown Derby, English Bone China backstamp (a sample of which is shown in the photos) with a scratch mark through signifying second quality.
