Light blue background with three different shades of blue and gold dashes forming the design. This piece depicts the English Spot rabbit believed to be one of the oldest breeds of rabbit dating back to the beginning of the 19th century. The Spot generally weighs between 5-8 pounds and is remarkable for its arched back, dark coloured ears, butterfly shape markings on its nose, circles around its eyes, spots around its lower half and a dark herringbone chain marking tracing the spine.
The doe can have 5 - 7 young of which only about 50% will have the true Spot markings with the rest having variations. The Spot is known for its curious and fun loving nature.Spiritually, a rabbit is symbolic of good luck, abundance, fertility and renewal. The English Blue is complimented by the Royal Crown Derby Grey rabbit.
