Rare set of Royal crown derby Imari mythical creatures candle sticks. These don't often come up for sale as a full set. The 4 Mythical CreaturesThe full set is comprised of: The Griffin: Features a bird-like head and wings, with the tail coiling up to serve as the taper candle holder. The Bull / Manticore: Features a prominent stylized design with a thick, fluted neck hollowed out to hold the candle. The Winged Lion: Designed in a compact, stately pose with the candle socket integrated into its upper back/neck area.

The Goat / Unicorn Variant: Features long horns or a central horn, completing the heraldic quartet. The Pattern: Every piece in the set is uniformly styled using the classic Old Imari palette-rich cobalt blue, iron-red, and heavy 22-karat gold gilding. Functionality: They are unique hybrid collectibles, designed to be heavy enough to function as desk paperweights while serving as operational taper candle holders.
