Royal Crown Derby ROYAL BOOKSHOP AND WEDDING CAKE SHOP MINIATURE VILLAGE HOUSE SHOP PUB SERIES Ltd Edition No. This was the last of the miniature building series produced by Royal Crown Derby and was commissioned by Goviers of Sidmouth in 2017. It is RARE and difficult to find!

IT IS A DOUBLE SIDED DESIGN WITH TWO FRONTS! Bookshop and Wedding Cake Shop. Two Designs for the price of one! This is a rare use of the'Corner Shop' model otherwise only used on the Sweetshop. Two for the price of one!

One front depicts the Royal Bookshop aptly Established in 1947 and at number 70. The windows are crammed with Royal and Equestrian Books including one called Royal Life. The other front side shows Myrtle's Wedding Cake Shop in Hartnell Street, inspired by the Queen's Wedding Dress Maker Norman Hartnell. The shop is named after the Mytrle Tree. Every Royal Wedding Bouquet since Queen Victoria's time includes a sprig of Myrtle from a tree at Queen Victoria's house Osbourne Palace on the Isle of Wight.
